Fokyi Development Foundation (FDF), established and registered in 2020, is a community-based non-governmental organization operating in Rukiga District, Uganda. Guided by our faith in the Almighty God, the foundation is deeply committed to uplifting and transforming vulnerable communities. We work to advance the rights and dignity of girls and women, promote their active participation in community development, and foster a society where compassion, justice, and equality prevail for all humanity.
Our main objective is to empower women and youth through skills development including agriculture and beyond. By the grace of God, the foundation has successfully implemented diverse projects in education, agriculture, and talent development, positively impacting rural communities in Rukiga District.
Single mothers and youth are trained in modern and sustainable farming techniques, provided with seeds to promote food security, and supported in accessing markets for their produce to enable them earn a sustainable livelihood.
